Dear Bosqueville Community Members,
I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to address a matter of utmost importance regarding the safety and well-being of our students and staff in the Bosqueville Independent School District.
Since the commencement of the 2023-2024 school year in August, we have encountered a recurring issue that demands our collective attention. On numerous occasions, stray dogs have entered our school premises during school hours, posing a significant risk to the safety of our students and staff. Regrettably, in one instance, a student was bitten by one of these stray dogs, highlighting the urgency of this matter.
Ensuring the safety of our school environment is our top priority, we kindly request your support in achieving this goal. We ask that you take proactive measures to secure your dogs, ensuring they are not allowed to roam freely onto our property. By doing so, you contribute to the creation of a safe and secure environment for our students and staff, allowing them to focus on their education and responsibilities.
We genuinely appreciate your cooperation and understanding in this matter. Together, we can work towards fostering a safe and nurturing atmosphere within our school district.
Sincerely,
James Skeeler
