Hello everyone, our Volleyball Playoff Shirts are officially IN! The shirts will be available at the MS football games this evening. That is the preferred method of pickup. There was a slight delay in the youth sizes and long-sleeve shirts, although they should be ready and handed out to students tomorrow! JUST in time for GAMETIME!

To make Chromebook repairs, loaner checkouts, and charging easier and more efficient, we have 5 FUYL Towers located across campus.
These towers allow students to report broken Chromebooks, check out temporary loaner devices, and securely charge their Chromebooks while minimizing classroom disruptions.
Each FUYL Tower has 15 lockers:
5 Charging Bays – For students who need to charge their Chromebooks.
10 Loaner/Repair Bays – For broken Chromebook drop-offs and temporary loaner devices.
🔑 How to Access the FUYL Towers
Students will use their Student ID number (the same number used as their lunch code) to sign in and access the FUYL Towers.
Go to one of the 5 FUYL Towers located across campus.
Enter your Student ID number (lunch code) when prompted.
Follow the on-screen instructions for charging, repairs, or checking out a loaner Chromebook.
Make sure the locker is securely closed when finished.
🔧 Broken or Damaged Chromebooks
If a student's Chromebook is broken or not working properly:
Go to one of the FUYL Towers.
Use the iPad kiosk to report the Chromebook issue.
Sign in using your Student ID number (lunch code).
Follow the on-screen instructions to submit the repair request.
The kiosk will automatically email the Technology Department with the repair information.
Follow the instructions to place the broken Chromebook in the assigned locker and obtain a loaner device, if needed.
There is no need to submit a separate technology help desk ticket. The iPad kiosk handles the repair notification.
🔋 Chromebook Charging
If a student's Chromebook needs to be charged during the school day:
Visit one of the FUYL Towers.
Sign in using your Student ID number (lunch code).
Select an available charging bay and follow the instructions to securely place your Chromebook inside and connect it to the charger.
Students may check out a temporary loaner Chromebook while their assigned device charges, if one is available.
Students must return the loaner Chromebook BEFORE retrieving their assigned Chromebook from the charging locker.
This helps ensure loaner devices remain available for other students who need them.
💻 Loaner Chromebook Expectations
Loaner Chromebooks are temporary devices and should only be used when a student's assigned Chromebook is being repaired or charged.
Students must use their own Student ID number (lunch code) when checking out or returning devices.
Students are responsible for taking care of any loaner device checked out to them.
Loaner devices must be returned promptly when no longer needed.
Students may not keep both their assigned Chromebook and a loaner device.
Follow the kiosk instructions for checking out and returning devices.

Thank you to Tarleton State University, Texas State University, Goodall-Witcher Radiology, Texas Luxury and Land Real Estate, and Tessera Technology for visiting with our students and answering their questions. BISD would like to communicate a change in the 2026 Homecoming Parade. Beginning last Spring and carrying over to the start of this school year there has been discussion of moving the Homecoming Parade due to the many events that happen on Homecoming Day. Our volunteer group is gearing up to serve our community, and we need your help! We are collecting donations of Christmas wrapping paper to help our students wrap gifts for Friends for Life, an incredible organization supporting local elderly and disabled community members.
What we need: Rolls of Christmas wrapping paper and tape. (Paper can be partially used)
Deadline: Wednesday, September 2nd
Drop-off Locations: Mrs. Willis’s classroom or the High School Front Office
