Our community will be collecting socks from 9/14/26 through Friday, 9/18/24, at all three campuses and at both football games on Thursday and Friday.
The Schneider family donates socks to all different charities and organizations, including police stations, hospitals, prison ministries, and foster homes.
Emmie left an incredible impact on this world in such a short time with her kindness and love for Jesus.
We have a goal of collecting 2,000 pairs of crazy socks!
Last year, with the help of Rosebud Lott, Crawford, La Vega, Vanguard, and our community, we collected around 1,900 pairs of socks for Emmie’s sock ministry.
Please help us as we try to beat last year’s goal!

BISD would like to communicate a change in the 2026 Homecoming Parade. Beginning last Spring and carrying over to the start of this school year there has been discussion of moving the Homecoming Parade due to the many events that happen on Homecoming Day. After surveying the staff and getting feedback from the HS students it was determined that having the Homecoming Parade and Community Pep Rally in the evening on a day prior to Homecoming Day would be more beneficial for our students and staff. WIth that being said we are moving the 2026 Homecoming Parade/Community Pep Rally to Wednesday, October 7th @ 6:00 pm. We will be sending out more information regarding the logistics in the near future.
Thank you,
BISD Administration
