2025-2026 will be my 8th year at Bosqueville MS, but I have been teaching for 21 years.  I have taught mathematic levels from Intervention Math Lab up to HS Geometry.  I have a money back guarantee… if you come to class EVERY day and do ALL assignments as asked, by the end of 6th grade you will be a mathematician.

Expectations of 6th graders:
  • Go to the restroom/drink before & after class
  • Listen and do what’s asked of you
  • GOOD choices make a GREAT day!
  • No phones, food or drinks
  • Chromebook fully charged 
  • Study notes 5-10 minutes every night
  • Effort; it leads to success
  • Use pencils only
 
 
Grading Policies:  (Per BISD Student Handbook)
Math:  HW/notes - 10%, Daily - 40%, Test - 50%
STEM:   Journal - 10%, Daily - 40%, Project - 50%
All classes will have a minimum of 12 grades per cycle; 2 major Test grades.
Once an assignment is entered into the gradebook, if the score is below 70, students have 3 school days to re-do; after 3 days the score will stand as-is.  Assignments not completed by the due date are considered LATE and will lose 10% of the score daily; after 3 days the score will become a zero.
Students will have 1 make-up day for each day of absence to get work completed before considered LATE.
Example: sick 3 days = 3 make-up days
