Hi, I’m Jeremy Mercer — an IT professional with a strong commitment to cybersecurity and student safety. I graduated from Texas Tech University and have had the privilege of working in the IT department at the University of Texas, where I’ve gained hands-on experience supporting complex systems and protecting digital infrastructure in an academic environment.

My passion lies in cybersecurity, with a focus on creating secure, accessible, and reliable technology solutions that keep students, staff, and data safe. I believe that a secure digital space is essential to modern education, and I’m dedicated to building systems that support learning while maintaining the highest security standards.

Beyond my professional life, I’ve been happily married for over 10 years and am the proud parent of two grown children. Family and community are deeply important to me, and they continue to inspire the values I bring to my work every day.
