BISD guidelines for attending athletic events at Bosqueville ISD

BULLDOG ATHLETIC FANS:

BISD is excited about the 20-21 athletic seasons! We look forward to you being a partner in supporting our BISD student athletes and extracurricular participants. Due to the guidelines set forth by University Interscholastic League (UIL) and the Texas Education Agency (TEA) we have new protocols for competitions held at stadiums and gymnasiums. The following guidelines apply:

Volleyball:

  • All Home games will be livestreamed. You can find this information on the BISD homepage on our website.
  • No passes of any kind will be accepted at home games.
  • Tickets will be pre-sold to all home games in the following sequence. Volleyball players will have the opportunity to purchase up to four (4) tickets per home game. For Monday/Tuesday games volleyball players will have the opportunity to purchase up to (4 tickets) on Thursday and Friday the week before the game from the Volleyball Coaches. On Monday any remaining tickets will be available for purchase from the District Administration Office from (1:00 pm – 4:00 pm). For Thursday/Friday games volleyball players will have the opportunity to purchase up to (4 tickets) on the Wednesday before the Thursday/Friday game. On Thursday of that week any remaining tickets will be available for purchase from the District Administration Office from (1:00 pm – 4:00 pm).
  • The price of tickets will be set at $3 for all spectators (NO BILLS LARGER THAN $20)….this is for Varsity/JV/JH games. No tickets will be sold at the gate! All tickets must be Pre-purchased by following the above guidelines. If you do not have a Pre-purchased ticket you will not be able to enter the gymnasium.
  • Once District games begin tickets to away games will be available for pre-purchase only to student athletes through the coaches.
  • All fans are required to wear face coverings at all times while inside the gymnasium in accordance with the Governor’s Executive Order GA-29.
  • Social distancing of 6’ or more is recommended for all attendees. Groups from the same household may sit together in groups of no more than six (6).

 

Football:

  • All Home games will be livestreamed. You can find this information on the BISD homepage on our website.
  • No passes of any kind will be accepted at home games.
  • Tickets will be pre-sold to all home games in the following sequence… football players, cheerleaders, and band members. These groups will have the opportunity to purchase up to five (5) tickets per home game on Monday and Tuesday the week of the home game from their coaches or sponsors. On Wednesday any remaining tickets will be available for purchase at the District Administration Office from (1:00 pm – 4:00 pm).
  • There will be a (30 minute) break in between JH and JV games on Thursday nights. This is being done to allow JH fans to leave the stadium in an orderly manner while social distancing and allow JV fans to enter the stadium in a safe orderly manner.
  • The price of tickets will be set at $4 for all spectators….this includes Varsity/JV/JH games. No tickets will be sold at the gate! All tickets must be Pre-purchased by following the above guidelines. If you do not have a Pre-purchased ticket you will not be able to enter the stadium.
  • Once District games begin tickets to away games will be available for pre-purchase only to players and cheerleaders at an amount to be determined. Band will not be traveling to away games.
  • All fans are required to wear face coverings at all times while attending an event at the stadium in accordance with the Governor’s Executive Order GA-29.
  • Social distancing of 6’ or more is recommended for all attendees. Groups from the same household may sit together in groups of no more than six (6).
  • Attendees must be seated in the designated seating areas. Standing will only be allowed in designated areas on a limited basis.
  • At home games the cheerleaders and band will be located on the track. Only essential personnel will be allowed on the track and football field.
